Position Summary:

This role is an integral part of the Derm Concerns team that handles the large & rapidly growing skincare categories of hyperpigmentation, SPF and acne across the world. This role will be responsible for crafting innovation pipeline, develop breakthrough innovations, project manage key programs, and work cross functionally to deliver products and programs that are on time and in budget. This role will also continue to leverage a consumer-first mindset in the key NA and Asia markets.

· Innovate products and concepts that create new business opportunities

o Execute innovative product development and pipeline strategy in support of brand’s strategic direction and priorities and informed by identification of recruitment and loyalty drivers

o Carry out white space opportunities based on findings from consumer insights, social listening, CRM data and transposition from other industries

o Execute 18-month detailed calendar through product marketing and promotional programs, with a focus on fast-growing categories and subcategories, hero products, and brand-building channels

o Conduct research to build business case for Product Development and Concept Ideation briefs

o Prepare Concept Development briefs

· Product strategy that drives business and reinforces brand equity

o Collaborate in development of product marketing strategy including product architecture, product launch process and go-to-market strategy

o Collect and analyze sales trends, category shifts, COG changes, market intelligence and competition

o Support mid-management in quarterly report preparation

o Contribute to recommendations to seize market based on analysis

o Conduct ad hoc business analysis requests as needed

· Launch plans that incorporate 360 elements

o Execute timely digital-first launches focused on the consumer journey within designated budget and COG targets

o Support internal and external sourcing solutions for new products and existing businesses

o Prepare creative briefs for all programs and launches and coordinate communication with Creative team

o Coordinate claims testing of insight-based consumer concepts with external partners

· Champion, drive, and build emerging marketing trends and technology capabilities to meet customers where they are

o Explore the possibility of new marketing technologies across digital, mobile, and omnichannel platforms to enhance the customer experience and drive brand engagement in new and innovative ways

o Remain relentlessly up-to-date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities

o Support the implementation of creative technology solutions for the brand that increase efficiency, reduce spend and increase marketing reach

· Finance and Budget Management

o Responsible for financial, forecasting and pricing analysis

o Work with Finance to accurately project and maintain cost of goods from target costs to final costs

o Work with the Global Business Planning Group to compile sales forecasts for all of the franchise launches.

o Work with the Global Pricing Group to conduct pricing analysis related to all of the products

· Leverage key insights gleaned from a refined analytics practice to inform decisions

o Utilize analytics throughout function to accomplish strategic goals

o Use data to inform decision-making for strategy development and adjustments as necessary and track platform engagement and effectiveness through appropriate analytical tools

Strong project management skills

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
