We are seeking full-time Military Position CDL Class A drivers. This job is offering $20/hr.!
***Minimum 3 years active-duty time within the last 5 years***
Class A CDL Job Information & Requirements:
Veteran Only WITH 5th Wheel experience. 88M, 91B, 92F, and 3531s encouraged to apply!
Pay: Training for 6 weeks @ $20/hr., afterwards $80k+/year.
Route: Local and home daily work
Schedule: Rotating shifts / Bid Schedule. Drivers typically work 45-55 hours per week, shifts vary.
Description: Automatic Transmission Class A Tanker truck, Hauling – Cryogenic Liquid (Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Argon). No Touch Freight – Light physical work.

The training is 6 weeks in Glenmont, NY – all travel and lodging costs covered. Paid trips home every 2 weeks.
Must obtain tanker endorsement before training, Hazmat must be in process – any costs reimbursed.
o Pay – $20 an hour at the academy, varies once dependent on terminal site
o Schedule – While in the Academy – Monday through Friday 40-hour weeks. At Terminal site – 40-hour minimum weeks, 5-day work weeks with 2 consecutive days off, start time and days off is bid by seniority.
o Hours per week – Academy – 0800 – 1600 Monday through Friday
o CDL Type – CDL A w/Tanker and Hazmat
o Route Type – Local
o Freight Type -Tanker
o Handling Type – Live loading and unloading. Work independently, perform pre-trip/post-trip evaluations of equipment, lift to 50lbs, kneel, crouch, climb, sit, stand, walk, carry, push/pull, bend, reach, grasp 30%-60% of the workday, operate and drive tractor-trailer daily, face-to-face communication with supervisors, admin, customer, and telephone communications with central dispatch.
