ATLANTA — A person is behind bars after officers say he stabbed somebody to dying.
Atlanta police introduced the arrest of 36-year-old Landon Gibson, a person accused of killing 21-year-old Chavion Smith in October.
On Oct. 4 at 10:45 p.m., officers recieved reviews of an individual down on Flat Shoals Avenue.

When officers arrived, they situated Smith, who had been stabbed a number of occasions. He was taken to the hospital, the place he was pronounced useless.
Based on the investigation, Smith was stabbed after he confronted somebody who was stealing from vehicles on Flat Shoals Street. It’s unclear if the thief was focusing on Smith’s automobile.
Members of the family and former academics revealed on social media that Smith was a former standout soccer participant from Statesboro, North Carolina. He was anticipating a son together with his girlfriend, Shania Bailey-Scott, who described him as her finest buddy.

In bodycam footage on the day of his arrest, Gibson is seen exiting a again door earlier than being taken into custody by officers who had been standing within the yard of the house.
Gibson was charged with homicide, aggravated assault and coming into an vehicle.
